Great spots to eat in Brisbane

Updated: Feb 21, 2020

Brisbane is one of those cities that just always feels like home to me. I've managed to get out there 4 or 5 times now, and keep going back to the same spots. Here are a few of my favorites:

Cafes:

- Pearl Cafe (Wolloongabba): Tiny cafe with a changing seasonal menu that never disappoints.

- Popolo (South Bank): Pizza & pasta along the river overlooking CBD, what more could you ask for?

- Zeus (South Bank): Street Greek food at reasonable prices.

Restaurants:

- Corbette & Claude (CBD): Fine dining & trendy Italian restaurant in the heart of the city.

- Little Greek Taverna (West End): An authentic greek experience, complete with a BYO wine special to make for the perfect date night.

Drinks:

- Eleven (Fortitude Valley): Watch the sun set over the skyline at this rooftop chic spot.

- Mr. Percival's (Fortitude Valley): Elegant spot along the river under the Story Bridge to get nice drinks with a view.

- Felons Brewery (Fortitude Valley): Sitting right next to Mr. Percival's is a more casual spot with a wide assortment of beers and rotating food trucks to fill you up.

- South Bank Beer Garden (South Bank): Sit on a balcony overlooking Streets Beach with the view of the river & city skyline in the background.

Dessert:

- Gelato Messina (West End): THE best gelato in the city, a must do on any trip.
